I think I bought the wrong horse. I think I got the AGoT Palomino horse instead of Penny. Oh well, I don't feel like shipping it back. It will have to work for all our horse needs:Kaya, Felicity, Samantha, and AGoT horse.

Yes, the Palomino is the AGOT horse and not Penny. I like the Palomino better than the darker one, as you can see the expression in the eyes of the horse! Also she is brighter and more nice to look like!

I plan to get the Palomino horse rather than "Penny." The "Penny" horse actually isn't the right color anyway. It is a bay horse (brown with black mane and tail) and Penny from the books was chestnut (bright red brown all over). So none of the horses are really "Penny" when you get down to it.
I like the Palomino better because its eyes look bigger and its socks aren't so obviously painted on (they aren't in a straight line). Also, it's bridle is more realistic and comes completely off- a big plus to me. I don't want two sets of reins with the sleigh! I think the gold of the Palomino will look stunning with the sleigh! Post pictures! The sleigh is on its way to me, but no horse yet!

Glad I did not make a big blunder. But I figured for $60 this horse will have to do for all our horse needs. I am putting my foot down on getting a second horse. The dolls will have to take turns.

There is no mention of Gard owning a horse . He uses a car . The horse and sleigh were probably rented . The next time he rented a sleigh he could
get a different horse.

This is probably rank heresy, but I think the AG horses are UGLY.
I don't like the way the flocking stops just below the horses knees and hocks -- it makes them look like they're wearing an overstuffed body stocking.
And the horses' socks being the same height on each leg is unnatural.
The so-called Penney has the smallest eyes I've ever seen on a model horse.
I will grant that the Palomino has the sweetest expression of any of them.
Before AG does another horse, they'd better bring in a consultant from Breyer...
Lori, Felicity & Willow
(I'm betting that a new Penney is on the drawing board for the Elizabeth release.)

AG did sell some Breyers with their mini furniture and room set ups. I remember the classic Quarter horse mare and some foals.

Drat!!! I wish this had been posted way back in October. Well it probably was, but I didn't see it. I have "Penny" but I really don't like her all that much because she looks so fake. And her bridle doesn't come off! Double
Anyways, I don't feel like shipping her back for the Palomino either...hmm... I wish there was a more realistic Penny horse, thats all. A reddish one with removable bridle. And different colors in her coat. And bigger eyes and uneven socks.

Well I have to say that the Palomino horse is lovely. I am not sure it is worth $60 but I am glad that I did not get Penny. I would have thought all the AG horses were the same but in different colors. What is step high like?
